How to arrive
The most common access to Madrid from other countries is through the Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas International Airport, the busiest airfield in the country and the fifth in the European Union.
To get to Madrid from other provinces, apart from the plane, the fastest and most comfortable way is to travel by AVE. The city has two important stations that centralize all rail traffic, the Chamartín Station to the north and the Atocha Station to the south.
